Custom Badges, Patches and Plaques
The easiest way, especially with our badges, is to change the wood type on the product page, which automatically changes the main photograph to a picture of a badge cut from the wood you selected. If you need more help, you can visit our Guide to Wood Types
Our badges are custom made to order, and each one is hand drawn from scratch. It is a long process that can take between 4-6 weeks.
We often out perform that estimate. If you need your item faster, you can always add a rush order option.
The shipping window mentioned is for the amount of time it takes for your item to leave our door. Most of our items are shipped via UPS Ground, which can take from 1-5 days to reach almost anywhere in the US. We also offer upgraded shipping as soon as next day. Please note that expedited shipping relates to the amount of time it takes for your item to get from our door to yours. Choosing expedited shipping at checkout does not speed up production. We do not guarantee the shipping time it takes the carrier to deliver your item. If it is late and we shipped it within our window, your beef is with them and not us.

That is a really hard question to answer. Each badge is hand drawn in a digital format and the size greatly depends on the shape of the badge. For instance, a medium-sized badge of a standard police shield may be 14" tall and 9" wide, but a medium sized badge from a Sheriff's star may be 14" tall and 14" wide.
As a general rule of thumb, Small-sized badges are about 10" across the longest axis, medium sized badges are about 14" across the longest axis, and large-sized badges are about 23" across the longest axis.
Yes, of course. You can select any of our badge plaques and upload a photo of what you need during the checkout process. The prices are the same, and we will provide you with the same great service.
For our custom plaques, we send a digital proof of your item before we cut it. We won't cut it until you approve. That being said, if we cannot reach you at the contact information you provided, we reserve the right to cut and ship your item without your approval.
No, unfortunately not. Designing a custom piece takes a lot of time, and we have to pay our employees to do it. For that reason, we will not start on a design until we have received payment for an order.
Unfortunately, no. We require upfront payment for all items.

We take exceptional care in packaging our badges. They are shipped in durable cardboard mailers and encased in 2" thick foam. If the shipping company damages your item, please take pictures of the packaging as it arrived, pictures of the damage to the item, and save the packaging. Make sure to contact us quickly so we can begin to help with getting your issue remedied.
